The Vault is now accepting author registrations and listings, but won't open for pro searches until the first 300 listings have been published. This is to ensure that from the very first search, pros will be able to find the books they want.

You Can Try The Vault For Free - There's No Risk Or Cost To You!

The Vault was founded, and is being run, by indie authors, and we know all too well how many scam artists are out there trying to rip you off. Even though we know we're not scam artists, we can understand why you might not take our word for it. That's why we offer a free trial period of 30 days on every new listing, to give authors an opportunity to try the service and judge its value for themselves before giving us any money. And if yours is one of the first 300 listings to be published, its free trial listing period will be extended to 90 days.

The First 300 Listings To Be Published Get Up To 120 Days' Free Listing Time!

In order to get the Vault open for pro searches as quickly as possible, the first 300 listings to be published will be listed free of charge from the date of publication until 90 days after the Vault opens for pro searches. A counter will shortly be provided on the front page, to let you know how many of the 300 promotional listings are still available at any time. Site registration is free, and it's free to create listings, but listings aren't visible to pros until they've been published. When you've got a listing that's ready to publish, so long as some of the 300 free promotional listings are still available, use the Contact Us form to to notify the site administrator (select "Free Promotional Listing" as the subject) and be sure to include the book's title. If your request is one of the first 300 to be received, the site administrator will mark your listing as paid and publish it. DO NOT PUBLISH VIA THE PAYPAL SUBSCRIPTION TAB ON YOUR LISTING, THE VAULT CANNOT REIMBURSE YOU FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS YOU PAY FOR YOURSELF. You can claim as many of the 300 free promotional listings as you like, there's no per-author limit.

On the 91st day after the Vault opens for pro searches, a notification that the free promotional listing period is over will be posted on the site and the 300 free promotional listings will be marked "unpaid", but will remain visible and searchable on the site for an additional 7 days to give those authors the opportunity to renew their listings at regular rates with no break in their listings' visibility. If the author elects to renew, he'll get an additional free 30 days at the beginning of his paid listing period, just like any author who's publishing a new listing for the first time (see All Other Published Listings... section, below).

All Other Published Listings Get 30 Days' Free Listing Time!

Beginning with the 301st listing the regular published listing rate of $10 per 30 days will apply, but the listing fee for the first 30 days is waived on all newly-published listings to provide authors with a free trial period. These regular listings can be published at any time by the author via the PayPal tab of the listing. A notification email is sent to the author 7 days before the listing renews, to provide the author adequate time to delete the listing and cancel payment before it renews, if desired. 

Give It A Try, And Spread The Word!

Registration for Vault membership is free, and you can create as many listings as you like for free, too. Listings aren't visible to anyone on the site except you and site admins until they're published, but creating one or more gives you the opportunity to see how the process works, preview what the published listing will look like, and make any desired changes to it before you incur any fees by publishing.

The Vault can't open for pro searches until we've hit that magic threshold of 300 listings, so please spread the word everywhere indie authors who are interested in getting a mainstream publishing contract can be found.
